Thankyou!! She is a bit full-figured, but she has a wonderful personality and dances like an angel.
Personally, I don't like the way those dirty old bugs are looking at her

One of these days we are going to look at a micrograph of an insect and see something we wish we hadn't.
I'll let your imagination have some fun with that idea ;)
I see faces everywhere, especially on the ceiling of my old apartment :D

Do serial killers have coffee tables? Do they even decorate?

Bravo!! I have a bunch of SEM pics of bugs and pollen and TEM pics of plant inards from college and I've always looked and them and tried to figure out how to get people to be fascinated wiht them as "art" as I was when I took them. You nailed it, it's great! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! :+fav: :)

Certainly, the first photomicromanipulation ever!

This has whimsy, a dash of the disturbing, and innovation.

You're brilliant.

DON'T ARGUE! ;)

Your points are well taken, but I believe the first Micromanipulation was at the hand(s) of EbonLupus. Let's Hope there was not a deviation created to commemorate the event. And I think that manipulation included a dash of Cum(m)in.

This is brilliantly funny. I used to find those electron microscope images in my biology book, stuff like the huge lice and cell structures.... and to come up with something like THIS, one needs to be brilliantly deranged.
You have my deepest respect :XD:

Thankyou for your respect, but I dunno about the brilliance part. There is a fine line between insanity and genius; I think I spend most of my time on the mental patient side. I'm glad you were entertained!! :)

Alright, so the world under the microscope isn't always a soirée, but who says it can't be?
Microscopes scare the hell out of me, partially because what is seen underneath it is real--no matter how intricate the design of the organism being observed. Scary as it is, the organism's reality is hard to grasp, especially when the outter-work is full of tracery and tedious detail.
Funneh stuff, this "magnification." I found out what a scab looked like under one in like, sixth grade. Really gross.
And then we continued to look at how fine our hair was (mine was thicker and had a reddish hue...?). And after that, I figured "Why the hell not?" and my lab partner put one of his boogers on a slide.
There's so much detail in crusty phlegm.

KNow when to say when in the laboratory. I'm glad you have discovered the true nature of your hair color; I've heard that after decades of dyeing sometimes one can be uncertain. Ignorance is bliss when considering the legion of creepy-crawlies that live in our eyebrows alone.

Hey Look, MA! I'm a metropolis!

Shower = common cure for microscopic Urban Sprawl.

That's pretty much it.

I'm Done.

Thanks!! There is no end to your open-mindedness, is there? I came across some sufficiently high quality "portraits" of several insect species; thanks to lots of encouragement, I may do another! What did you think of the colorizing? I did it originally to help certain areas 'stand out'. Hope it didn't come across as too cartoony..........

It's a little microscopic protozoan who's skeleton, when combined with trillions of others just like it, settled to the floor of the ocean to be compressed and produce limestone and CHALK. The pink one in my pic is a little...um....without....her shell (nekked). :omfg:

awww! thank you!
well, finals are this week, and at the end i have to stay at home for two weeks.
grr.... i already have several pics done and wanting to get up there, but only time enough for maybe one scan-in today before the hell starts.
blah.
there was already a great deal of hell over the weekend.
and right now i have a rather nagging headache.
had it last night, as well, perhaps not the same one, but i actually decided to go to bed at 9 cuz the weekend was so bad.
'cept i went to a reptile show and now i SO SO SO want a coral snake... little baby ones there up for sale, can't wait till i get a steady life enough so i can lavish my love and care on one... *sigh*
did a pic that was not gory or greusome, so i decided to share it with my family, cuz i had spent quite a bit of effort on it.
the lack of enthusiasm was a bit discouraging.
i've asked Xsi to remind me that, if i get the urge to do that again, i shouldn't.

You're still here!!! I was going to dedicate this deviation to you, but I thought you had gone for the rest of the Winter.

Curses!!! :shakefist:

The dedication was going to say something like this:

"to , who once told me she thought that everything had been done in the world of art"

You and I both know that you ALREADY ARE AN EXCEPTION TO YOUR OWN THEORY each and every time you create.
And If I try hard enough and don't care about the snickers and finger-pointing, I can manage it too.

:glomp: tackling at the end this time.

And Thx for The :+fav:
